Thoughts of King Arthur

I was surprised to see how King Arthur’s personality was portrayed. I did not expect him to be selfless and brave when his kingdom was in trouble. The amount of clothing that King Arthur and his knights wore looked bulky and heavy, but I kept in mind that concept was a myth. I also noticed the horses had armor as well which I have not noticed before. I thought it was interesting that each person at the round table had a golden chalice. I noticed many of the men had facial hair. I wondered why there were so many patches of fire lit all over the field. I did not expect there to be natives helping King Arthur with his fight. I did not see any people of color which would be cool to see other races during that time. There are many different versions of King Arthur. The clips I watched in class were different from the ones I’ve seen before because I’ve only seen animations. I liked how realistic everything looked in the clips. The tone of the setting was dark and I could feel the danger in the atmosphere as I watched.
