Launcelot Has An Idea

"My fair lady, I have never worn a token at a tournament! You ask me to do what I have not done for anyone before!" Sir Launcelot (Cannon, 458)

When the Fair Maid of Astalot asks Launcelot to wear her token, Launcelot realizes she has given him the perfect way to hide his identity in the middle of denying her request.
(note: I spent way too long making this dumb meme)

  1. Hi Kiki - I am all for meme-making! Nicely done! ;-) See my comment on Brandon's post and see what you think about the reasons why I think he does this. Let me know what you think.

  2. Kiki! I really like this meme, it made me laugh. Why do you think token wearing is something that Lancelot does not do? What does that say about him?

  3. Firstly, nice meme. Secondly, that is a good point. I think this shows that Lancelot is rather naive, to say the least. I feel like the only way this would work was if it was big enough to cover his face or something. What do you think?

  4. I thought that this meme was spot on. I think that Lancelot did not quite understand what a disguise was. It was also interesting that he did this because before this part it was mentioned that Arthur recognized him before the tournament. If him and Arthur are such close friends it's crazy to believe that a token would be able to hide Lancelot's identity.
