The headless trickster

It was all a trick! I knew something didn’t seem right. The lady was too pressed for Sir Gawain’s kisses and love but he refused to dishonor his host. He has proven his loyalty even though he did not mention to Bertilak about the magical girdle he acquired. Small mistake. I was surprised Bertilak was the green knight in disguise this whole time. I think he wanted to see what kind of man Sir Gawain really was and if he has changed in any way. Even though the green knight wasn't able to cut off his head he still ended up messing with Sir Gawain’s head.
